TWM operates an EPA licensed transfer station in Fassaroe for radioactive sealed sources, chemicals and compounds. We have extensive experience in managing radioactive waste from the industrial, research, healthcare, semi state and education sectors. Our service offering includes for packing, labelling and transport of radioactive material in accordance with ADR/IMDG/IATA regulations.
All material is shipped to licensed facilities in the UK, Europe and the US with full traceability for the customer. Radioactive sources range from large industrial sources to smoke detectors and we have a solution for each. Radioactive chemicals and compounds regularly arise in the education sector and we can offer a bespoke solution for managing the packing, collection and disposal of these sources also.
